Aquavx is the SCADA alternative for water and wastewater utilities and operators. Offered at the cost of an auto-dialer, Aquavx enables customers to accurately monitor and control their equipment and streamline operations with increasingly fewer resources. Through a partnership between Antx and M2M Data Corporation, Aquavx is built on 35 years of combined experience in the water/wastewater industry and hosted communications and monitoring technology market. Unmatched in its service features and the added value it brings to customers, Aquavx is the trusted brand in water asset management services.
As a SCADA alternative, we use cellular and satellite based communication technologies instead of using expensive private radio networks. In most cases it even costs less than the phone line for a traditional auto dialer. Aquavx is a hosted solution so you get everything you need without the hassle of installing and maintaining software. You get the reports, notifications, and analytics you need without pricey customization. It’s easy to configure so you get all of the information you need with none of the useless data you don’t. It’s not SCADA, it’s Aquavx.
And for those of you who are already using SCADA, Aquavx might be the perfect supplement.

The Aquavx Solution

A Hosted Remote Monitoring Service

Aquavx Hosted Remote Service

Aquavx is a complete solution. We have the benefit of Antx's knowledge of the water and wastewater market, which was developed while deploying over 40,000 pieces of monitoring hardware, and M2M's experience of developing a hosted remote monitoring service infrastructure that processes over 3 million transactions each day. The result is the best available remote monitoring solution on the market today.

Why is it the best?
Because we give you just the information you need, without the clutter. The Aquavx solution is different. Instead of sending you data every two minutes, we send data when a value reaches a threshold that you've defined. That's because unlike traditional SCADA or our competitors' monitoring solutions, our hardware is intelligent. Why do you need data every two minutes just to show you that everything's working fine? We borrowed a term from the water industry to name this phenomenon, DRIP, Data Rich Information Poor. We give you just the information you need, so you can make better decisions, instead of overwhelming you with mountains of useless data.
Aquavx is the SCADA alternative at the cost of an auto-dialer, designed exclusively for sanitation districts, utility companies and municipal utility districts.
Our service is unique
  • Our expertise is built on 35 years of experience through a partnership between Antx, with its long history in the water/wastewater market, and M2M Data Corporation, with its experience in hosted communications and remote monitoring technology.

Waste Water

Alarm Notification & Monitoring for Lift Stations & Sanitation Plants

Aquavx Remote Monitoring Service
Our products have been used in the municipal and industrial wastewater markets for over 20 years, providing alarm notification and monitoring of remote and unattended facilities. While initially providing simple alarm notification for loss of power and high level, many facilities have added diagnostic information to reduce the number of site visits and increase time between equipment failures. Operations personnel are continually challenged to prevent overflows, reduce pump cycling, prolong the life of pumps, limit and report access - all as economical as possible. Antx's DiaLog products, which power the Aquavx solution, have been addressing these needs since 1983.
Whether you need to monitor just a few critical conditions or up to 200, using cellular or satellite communications, Aquavx has the answer. Below are some of the more common applications that benefit from Aquavx:
Lift stations
  • Monitor level either with a float switch, pressure sensor or level transmitter.
  • Alarm when level is too high.
  • Alarm when primary power or power to a phase monitor is dropped.
  • Compute run-times and cycles on pumps to confirm even use in duplex, triplex and quad systems.
  • Provide automatic reporting of pump statistics.
  • Provide remote access to all monitored conditions via web browser.
  • Transmit tank level from remote tanks to control system either via radio transmission or, if there is no line-of-sight, by cellular phone.
Small sanitation plants
  • Monitor and alarm on primary power failure.
  • Monitor and alarm motor failures from settling ponds, aeration basins or effluent.
  • Monitor and alarm on high levels from floats or level sensors.
  • Provide remote access to all monitored conditions via phone or PC.
  • Provide interface with existing or future SCADA.
  • Provide hardware-based alarm notification from PLCs or loss of communication with PLCs.
  • Provide automatic power cycle on PLC upon loss of communication.
Larger sanitation plants
  • Provide hardware-based alarm notification from SCADA system or PLCs.
  • Provide alarms when SCADA system communication stops.
  • Provide remote access to all monitored conditions via browser.

Water

Alarm Notification & Monitoring for Water Tanks, Wells, Distribution & Water Plants

Aquavx Water Monitoring Solution

Aquavx's hardware products have been used in the municipal and industrial water market for over 20 years, providing alarm notification and monitoring of remote and unattended facilities. Until 9/11 most water applications simply provided alarming on low pressure and low tank level, but with today's security concerns, virtually all implementations also provide intrusion, motion and access control monitoring and reporting.
Operations are continually challenged to keep distribution pressure up, CL at appropriate levels, prolong the life of pumps, limit and report access

Water Tanks
  • Monitor tank level either with a level switch, pressure sensor or level transmitter.
  • Alarm when tank level is too low or too high.
  • Alarm when the tank level drops at too fast a rate indicating either a busted main or a fire hydrant has been opened.
  • Provide automatic reporting of tank level.
  • Provide remote access to all monitored conditions via web browser.
  • Provide low level lockout and lockin to distribution system based on tank level.
  • Transmit tank level from remote tanks to well control system either via radio transmission or, if there is no line-of-sight, by cellular phone.
Wells
  • Monitor, record and report well pump run times, number of cycles and time when pumps start and stop to determine well recovery time.
  • Monitor and alarm motor starter failures.
  • Record and report current and totalized flow from each well.
  • Provide remote access to all monitored conditions via phone or PC.
  • Provide automatic reporting of run times and cycles.
  • Control and alternate pumps based on tank level from probes, pressure or level transmitters.
  • Alarm on loss of phase for 3-phase motors.
  • Provide interface with existing or future SCADA.
Distribution
  • Monitor, alarm and record distribution line pressure.
  • Monitor and alarm on residual chlorine levels.
  • Control and alternate booster pumps based on distribution line pressure.
  • Monitor and alarm motor start failures.
  • Provide remote access to all monitored conditions via phone or PC.
  • Control hydrostatic tank pressure.
  • Provide interface with existing or future SCADA.
Small Water Plants
  • Complete control of wells, tank level and distribution pressure.
  • Alarming on motor starter failures, low tank level, low distribution pressure, phase fault, excessive cycling, excessive run-time, high CL level and intrusion.
  • Reporting of daily run-times, cycles, total well flow and all monitored conditions
  • Remote access to all monitored conditions via web borwser.
  • Provide direct interface with existing or future SCADA system
Larger Water Plants
  • Monitor and alarm on all tank levels.
  • Alarm on phase fault, high CL level, motor starter failures, excessive cycling and run-times.
